In 2002 Kornélia was engaged by the Hungarian State Opera House and became a member of its opera studio. At the same time she began to perform with the Hungarian State Opera.
Kornélia regularly performs with the MAV Symphonic Orchestra and the Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra at the Matthias Church in Budapest where she sings Mozart: Requiem, Exsultate Jubilate, Krönungs-messe, Missa Brevis, Laudate Dominum, c-minor messe, Pergolesi:Stabat Mater, Händel:Messiah, Haydn:Creation, J.S.Bach: Christmas Oratorio and Vivaldi: Juditha Triumphans.
Her repertoire ranges from Bach through to Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Goldmark, Debussy, Faure, Duparc as well as composers of the 20th Century such as Bartok, Kodaly and Britten. She toured as a soloist in Japan - New Year’s Eve Concerts (1997, 2000 & 2003) and in the 2004 opera tour with the Hungarian State Opera.
In Germany – New Year’s Eve Concerts including a number of operetta arias (2004). In Mexico - Solo recitals (2002, 2003 & 2006). In Spain – Concerts in Andalucia (2005) and in Thailand – Hungarian State Opera Tour (2005).
In 1996 Kornélia was honoured to sing a selection of Bartok’s songs for Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands on the occasion of the Royal visit to Hungary.
In 2002 she sang for Mrs Laura Bush, First Lady of the United States of America at the American Embassy in Budapest. Kornélia is often invited to sing in the Hungarian Cultural Centre in London and on two occasions in the Cultural Centre in Paris.
She has also performed at the Hungarian Embassy in London as well as the embassies of Norway, Great Britain, United States of America, Mexico and The Netherlands in Budapest. In 2006 she was involved in a solo recital for the International Jewish Music Festival in London and solo concerts in Mexico.
